and Change Your Pace Challenge

Eighteen non-profit organizations participated in the 2017 Change Your Pace Challenge. The non-profits raised over $50K while the Seeley Lake Community Foundation raised over $30K in matching funds. The organizations will use the money they raised for such diverse projects as encouraging involvement in the local fire company, sending students to Costa Rica, assisting with Meals on Wheels, highway clean-up, and continuing the new I Ride van service. The funds will also be used to assist with much loved community activities such as the annual Ice Skating party, the Easter Egg Hunt, movie night at the Fire House, and the fireworks on the 4th of July.

Congratulations to the following participating non-profit organizations who worked hard to earn money for their projects, and to educate the community about their programs and goals:  Alpine Artisans, Inc., Big Blackfoot Chapter Trout Unlimited, Camp Utmost, Partnership Health Center - Seeley Lake, Seeley Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Seeley Lake Community Foundation, Seeley Lake Historical Society, Seeley Lake Lions Club, Seeley Lake Senior Center, Seeley Lake Elementary Outdoor Education/Leadership Project, Seeley Lake ROCKS, Seeley Lake Volunteer Fire Company, Seeley-Swan High School Destinations for Education, Seeley Swan Medical Center Foundation, Sparrow's Vine, Sullivan Memorial Community Park, Upper Swan Valley Historical Society, Veterans and Families of Seeley Lake.

Also, last but not least, a big THANK YOU to the many, many people who donated their time, energy and dollars to the Change Your Pace Challenge.

What YOU help us do

Where YOU can make a difference

Seeley Lake Community Foundation plays a unique role in this small powerhouse community. In a town without a consolidated government, the Foundation has evolved as a clearinghouse for knowledge of community needs and opportunities, as a hub for charitable giving and a mechanism for savvy, collaborative solutions to local issues.
